Live Weather Cam at PFC

  • Weather must be VFR for solo flights.  For dual flights, it can be special VFR.

  • Never take off with a Cessna 152 when the fuel tanks are less than one half full.  The tanks must be dipped to most accurately determine the contents.

  • In any case, no flight shall be commenced unless it can be determined that there is sufficient fuel to complete the intended flight and to fly thereafter for 45 minutes at normal cruising speed.

  • Solo practice shall be conducted in assigned practice areas only, ie. South Practice Area, Glen Valley Practice Area.  No solo flights below 500 feet will be permitted except for the purpose of taking off and landing at approved airports.  Student pilots may not solo without supervision from an instructor.  You must have your student pilot permit with you when you solo.

  • Any defect found during the preflight inspections shall be reported to dispatch before the flight is attempted.  Any defects found during flight shall be reported as soon as possible upon landing.

  • The aircraft must, when parked, be securely tied down with pitot cover and control locks in place.

  • As a courtesy to the next pilot, please ask the fuel truck to fuel the plane if required.

  • All members are required to be familiar with the Club's Operations Manual outlining pilot responsibilities.
