Training

Flight training and embarking on your career in aviation is as easy as picking up the phone and arranging an introductory flying lesson and tour of the Club so you can meet our staff, see our facilities and get up close and personal with our aircraft.  Our staff can advise you on career options, training regimens, industry outlooks and help you make that big career decision.

Most students will begin by signing up for an introductory flying lesson.  Once you’ve been up in the air flying the aircraft with an instructor, students typically will sign up to start Private Pilot ground school and flying.  Simply tell us when you want to fly and how often per week and we’ll be sure a schedule is established that meets your needs and gives you the flexibility you want.  We will assign you a primary and secondary instructor so that you can still fly if your primary instructor has a day off or you want to do something at the last minute.

All students planning or contemplating a career as a professional pilot must complete the Private Pilot Licence and then move to completing the requirements for the Commercial Licence.

Our flowchart outlines your training progression and what you can expect along the way!  And of course, we’re always here to answer all your questions.
