Class 1 Instructor
Clark is recognized as a leader in Canadian flight training. In 2005, he was honored with the David Charles Abramson Flight Instructor Safety Award. He is a Class 1 Instructor who is also a Pilot Examiner for Transport Canada and Authorized Person. Clark was instrumental in the development of the BCIT Airline & Flight Operations program and developed the training regimen for this diploma program. When Clark isn’t at the Club, he can be found doing “guy” stuff such as hunting, fishing, camping and boating.

Paul is the second of three generations of commercial pilots. Stories of Uncle Ted flying Spitfires over Britain in WW2 ignited his passion for aviation. From the beginning, the focus of Paul?s instructing career has been on delivering that all important first 50 hours of instruction. His understanding, focus and passion is instilled in every instructor he trains. Those 3,000 minutes of coaching often determines the outcome of an event 3,000 hours later.

Marcel has received training in aviation from both Europe and Canada. As an instructor, he has had the opportunity to train with students from all over Canada and many different parts of the world. His passion for aviation has currently led him to a career in flight instruction. What keeps Marcel motivated is the sense of satisfaction and accomplishment when he sees students achieve their goals and dreams. With his expertise and support, Marcel guides students through a process that will mold them into professional, and most importantly, safe pilots, all while ensuring the flying experience is still exciting and enjoyable.

Nikhon spent a lot of his childhood flying between Vancouver and Toronto which sparked his interest in aviation. Unsure of his career path, he decided to listen to his family’s advice and take a familiarization flight. since then he has been inseparable from aircraft and loves to help others achieve their dreams in aviation.

I was born and raised in South Korea. Over the years I have worked for airports located in Korea and Canada, but my dream was to be a pilot. Pacific Flying Club made my dream come true, as I finished my PPL, CPL, Multi, IFR and Instructor rating at PFC. I hope I can be the one to help you become the professional pilot you dream to be.

Whether it was arguing with his younger sister who gets the window seat during commercial flights or plane spotting at YVR, Stefan’s passion was clear from an early age. After combining his love for teaching and flying, Stefan is eager and committed to sharing his love for aviation with his students. Dana has always enjoyed visiting new places and the different ways to travel to them. Starting with her motorcycle on the streets of Vancouver, then off-roading while living in the Bridge River Valley, flying ended up being a natural next step in her journey. Dana will help you become a safe and effective pilot, treating your training experience as a valuable adventure to greater goals.

Justin has had a young start to being a team player and a leader. He has played hockey all his life and even brought his team to an
elite-level championship. Now over the years, he has taught others how to skate and play hockey. However, this has not been his only passion. Justin has loved aerospace since he was 10. The idea of flying, and learning more about aircraft has been a dream for him. So mixing aerospace and teaching is the perfect combination for him.
Justin is excited about making every pilot become the very best they can be. So let’s have an amazing time!

Danielle first discovered her love of travel at a young age when she spent 3 months living in France. That love for travel lead her to Air Canada where she has spent the last 7 years working as a flight attendant. Danielle has loved learning to fly and is eager to help you meet your aviation goals.

Kianna’s passion for aviation started quite young. Seeing her mom in the industry, she knew she wanted to become a pilot since she was 12. Through this time, she experienced various leadership and coaching positions playing a variety of sports, including competing at the World Kendo Championships. Her goal is to combine her coaching and piloting experience to help students become confident, safe, and proficient pilots, while most importantly, having a great time!
